Privacy Policy
North Frame is a brand and marketing consulting business based in Portland, Oregon. This policy covers northframe.us and the ways you reach us through it: our contact options, our intake form, and our ads. “We,” “us,” and “North Frame” mean North Frame and its owner, Alvin Rahmanovic.
1. What we collect
What you give us
- Your name, email address, business name, website, and your role.
- Your answers to our guided intake, such as what you need, where your business is today, and your timeline. When you press Send, they go straight to us through our website host, Netlify, which keeps them in a private form inbox and emails us a copy.
- Anything you write in notes, emails, or messages to us, including messages on LinkedIn.
What we collect automatically
- Basic technical data: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, the page that sent you here, and the date and time. Our hosting provider records this in standard server logs.
- Cookie and advertising data, only if you allow it. See section 3.
What we get from others
If you click one of our LinkedIn ads or contact us on LinkedIn, we may see information your LinkedIn profile makes available to us, such as your name, title, and company.
Please don’t put sensitive information, like financial account numbers, health details, or government ID numbers, into the form or notes. We don’t need it.
2. How we use it
- To reply to you, schedule a conversation, and figure out whether we’re a good fit.
- To prepare for and deliver our work if you become a client.
- To send you information you asked for. We’ll only send marketing emails if you ask us to, and every one will have an unsubscribe link.
- To understand how our site and ads perform, so we can improve them.
- To keep the site secure and meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
3. Cookies, ads, and measurement
Our site works without cookies. If we show a cookie banner, it stores only your choice so we don’t keep asking.
Fonts. We load fonts from Google Fonts. When your browser requests them, Google receives your IP address and basic browser details.
Advertising and measurement (only with your OK). We run ads on LinkedIn. If you accept marketing cookies, we load the LinkedIn Insight Tag. It lets LinkedIn tell us, in aggregate, how our ads perform and what kinds of professionals visit our site, and it lets us measure actions like submitting our intake form. LinkedIn sets cookies for this, such as UserMatchHistory and li_sugr, and LinkedIn’s own privacy policy covers how it uses that data. If you decline, the tag doesn’t load.
Under some state privacy laws, this kind of ad measurement counts as “targeted advertising” or “sharing.” You can turn it off at any time by choosing Decline in our , by changing your browser settings, or by using a browser that sends a Global Privacy Control signal. We treat that signal as a request to opt out.
4. Who we share it with
We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t share it with anyone for their own marketing. We share it only with the services that help us run North Frame, and only for that purpose:

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone’s safety, or if North Frame is ever sold or merged. In that case, we’d make sure the new owner honors this policy.
5. How long we keep it
If we don’t end up working together, we keep your inquiry for up to 24 months, in our email and in our website’s form inbox, so we can follow up when the timing is right. If you become a client, we keep your records as long as the work and our legal, tax, and accounting obligations require. Ask us to delete it sooner and we will, unless the law says we have to keep it.
6. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we have about you, and give you a copy;
- correct anything that’s wrong;
- delete your information;
- stop using your information for ad measurement, or stop emailing you.
Email hello@northframe.us. We’ll respond within 45 days. We won’t treat you differently for making a request. If we decline a request and you disagree, reply with the word “appeal” and we’ll review it again and respond within 45 days. Residents of Oregon and some other states have additional rights under state privacy laws. We honor them no matter where you live.
7. Keeping it safe
We use reputable, password-protected services and limit who can see your information. No system is perfectly secure, so we can’t promise absolute security, but we take care of what you share with us.
8. Children
Our services are for business owners and professionals. This site isn’t meant for anyone under 18, and we don’t knowingly collect information from children. If you think we have, tell us and we’ll delete it.
9. Other sites
This site links to places we don’t control, like LinkedIn. Their privacy practices are their own, so check their policies.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top. If the change is significant, we’ll make it obvious on the site.
